After having provided Weba Deinze and Weba Gent with a complete light installation, Fantasia Lighting was asked to provide the lights for the completely renovated and expanded establishment in Mons.

Mission:

- keep the current look, but use more efficient lighting systems

- the lights have to provide a pleasant atmosphere and use the correct accents

Finally the lights have to be connected on TECTON cable trays from Zumtobel. These cable trays also house the cables for the computer network, smoke detectors, etc.

Execution:

For the general lighting we chose the BELL pendant that uses a 70W CDM elite, which provides a better light spread than a similar LED. CDM is also very efficient.

We chose the NITRIX as accent lights. The Nitrix has a 33W LED chip and produces 3000Lm of light. The reflector can easily be changed to increase or decrease the width of the light beam where needed.

To fit the devices on the Tecton cable trays we made the necessary adjustments together with Zumtobel.
We achieved a 3W/m² energy usage, without diminishing the visual comfort, the pleasant atmosphere or the high colour reproduction.
