POP-UP Gallery Ecodesign
Our interior decorator Lynn Buysse was asked to be a judge for the final thesis, of the last year students, of the Ensor Institute in Ostend.
Their mission:
Design a three dimensional lamp for a specific place:
- The theme 'ecodesign' has to be respected and visible in the design (using ecologically friendly materials, recycling, upcycling)
- The object has to have a relationship with the room it's placed in (colours, materials, shape, atmosphere, ...). The design has to be in line with the atmosphere of the room.
- During the manufacturing of the lamp, the student can only use previously used materials and techniques.
Next year we won't just judge, we will also provide information, help and materials for the students, so they can design unique lights.
